Pets
Pets are party members (see below) that you can receive from eggs or from putting certain items on your island.
Pets can:
-Heal you if you die
-Fight in battles
-Pick up items, even rare items
* You can NOT summon your pet while in a party with other players. Once you send a party invite and it is accepted, your pet will be put back. If you are invited into a party and you accept the invite, your pet will go away.
** When your pet picks up a rare item, the rare item banner that usually appears across your screen will NOT appear.

Summoning a Pet
Each item you put into your island has an element attribute. Light, earth, darkness, water, fire, wind or neutral.
Each pet also has attributes and you can entice it to visit your island, but you need to have the correct elements.
Example:
Colon
Attribute: Earth Element 10
Mini Haniwa
Attribute: Earth 2
So, if you place 5 Mini Haniwa into your Island (using edit mode) you will have 10 Earth Element points. This should help a Colon appear (once in invite mode).
If you want to keep it, feed it. If not, expel it and something else will come along if it fits your elements. (You don't need to expel if you have not fed it, simply going in and out of your island will shoo it away)
Each time you feed your stray (Once daily) you will get a + or - on Affinity Points, once you get 500 this will officially become your pet and you can then use it in game. You will get more affinity points by feeding your pet its preferred food, and also having lots of items on your island.
It is recommended that you feed your pet Pet Food (Cooking Lv34), feeding your pet other foods will increase and decrease some stats, but don't worry - you can always regain them.
~Lucky Color - In Fortune
Each color will give your island the attribute +5 for 1 day
Red - Fire Element
Blue - Water Element
Green - Wind Element
Yellow - Earth Element
White - Light Attribute
Black - Dark Attribute
Purple - Neutral Attribute
